Founded in 1992, Suited for Change provides professional clothing and ongoing career and life skills education to low-income women to increase their employment and job retention potential and to contribute to their economic independence.   • Over 100 partner agencies including homeless & domestic violence shelters, job-readiness & training programs, services for new immigrants, and government agencies refer women in their programs to Suited for Change. They know that women who lack the resources to present a professional image or training in how to secure or retain a job cannot compete for good jobs.
